The Middle East Fashion Week (MEFW) is returning for its second edition this November at The Agenda, Dubai Media City, followed by the resounding success of its premiere event last March. Organized by The Middle East Fashion Council (MEFC), this bi-annual event aims to foster connections between key players across the fashion industry in Dubai–one of the leading luxury retail capitals in the Middle East.

Following a successful inaugural iteration last year, the second edition of Middle East Fashion Week (MEFW) is set to take place from Nov. 7-10 at The Agenda in Dubai Media City, announced organizers of the Middle East Fashion Council (MEFC).

Unlike the traditional fashion week format we’ve all become accustomed to, MEFW is adopting a unique schedule, with a sustainable fashion forum featuring high-profile international speakers, followed by four days of in-person fashion shows from international and regional designers, a gala dinner and a slew of other VIP events.

It’s official: Middle East Fashion Week(MEFW) is bringing back all the glamour and fashion for a second time. Its first edition saw opulent labels and runway shows as well as the appearance of Professor Jimmy Choo OBE and his couture and bridal line, The Atelier Couture.

MEFW spotlights emerging talents across diverse categories (Couture or Street) with a four day-event of stunning runway shows. The new edition, governed by the Middle East Fashion Council, will focus on the business-to-business segment to help local and global talent connect with retailers and buyers. The MEFW Showrooms at the venue are also perfect for visitors to peruse between shows to explore the collections up close.

With a focus on sustainability, the event will bring together local and international designers to showcase their collections to the world

The second edition of Middle East Fashion Week (MEFW) will take place at The Agenda in Dubai Media City from November 7 – 10, 2022. The Middle East Fashion Council (MEFC), the governing body behind MEFW, sees the event as crucial to the fostering and development of regional creative talent. Press and buyers will also be invited to browse showrooms (which will be on-site), allowing them to directly engage with the product and meet the designers.

The inaugural Middle East Fashion Week is taking place on March 27-29 at The Agenda in Dubai Media City. The four-day event will feature 10 ready-to-wear and couture designers hailing from the region and beyond showcasing their latest womenswear collections.

UAE – The inaugural Middle East Fashion Week, to be held at The Agenda, Dubai Media City, next week, is set to host a fresh new line up of designers, both homegrown and international.

Kicking off the programme on March 27 is Middle East Fashion Council (MEFC)-sponsored Dubai-based Atelier Zuhra, founded in 2015 by Mouza Al Awfi, a businesswoman with a dream to create a fashion house. Her daughter Rayan Al Sulaimani took over a few years later and the brand has since gained regional and international recognition. Today, Rayan is amongst the top 40 “Women behind Middle Eastern brands” listed by Forbes Middle East.
